Driving time regulations

Orders are only available in compliance with current driver laws and regulations.

According to regulation (EC) 561/2006:

• The daily allowed driving period shall not exceed 9 hours, with the exemption of not more than twice a week when it may be 10 hours.
• After a driving period of 4,5 hours, a driver shall take an uninterrupted break of not less than 45 minutes. This break may be replaced by a break of at least 15 minutes followed by a break of at least 30 minutes. However, an uninterrupted 4,5 hour driving period shall be followed by an uninterrupted 45 minute break. During the break the driver must not undertake any work.
• The daily rest period in case of one driver is at least 11 hours. The regular daily rest period may be replaced by a break of at least 3 uninterrupted hours followed by a break of at least 9 uninterrupted hours. The daily rest period can be reduced to 9 hours three times a week.
• The weekly driving time shall not exceed 56 hours. The total accumulated driving time during any two consecutive weeks shall not exceed 90 hours.
• The weekly rest period if taken at the driver’s residence or depot, shall include 45 uninterrupted hours. If the weekly rest period is not taken at the driver’s residence or depot, the minimum amount of rest time shall be 24 hours.

In case the transportation doesn’t allow the observance of the regulations above, it is required to involve 2 drivers.

In Hungary, according to the traffic regulations, the speed limits for trucks are:

• in built-up areas 50 km/h
• outside of built-up areas 70 km/h
• on highways 80 km/h.

Ordering information

A contract for temporary product transportation shall only come into effect after an order in written form (by filling out the order form on the homepage, by e-mail or by fax) and the confirmation of the order are received. The content of the contract shall include the data in the order form and confirmation.

Payment policy

With all orders 80% of the calculated costs must be paid 10 days prior to the scheduled departure time against invoice, in cash or by bank transfer. The remaining amount must be paid after certified fulfilment of contract against invoice, in cash or by bank transfer within 8 working days. Performance settlement is based on certified log sheets. The actual incurred costs, kilometres driven or the actual working hours shall constitute the basis of performance settlement.
